MyMiniFactory.com (the leading marketplace for digital designs for 3d printing) has launched it's own marketplace. This is HUGE news. They're aiming to compete directly with Etsy to be the de facto marketplace for 3d printing miniatures. Etsy (and eBay, to a lesser extent) have dominated this niche market for years, but they've been very turbulent environments for sellers. As an Etsy seller, I have first hand experience of predatory DMCA and IP takedowns from 3rd party agencies using AI. Even GW themselves know that they have free reign to make rather flimsy claims on these marketplaces to get products delisted and even shutdown a seller's livelihood altogether. There's no protection for 3d print shops like ours on those platforms. MyMiniFactory will change that.
